Abducted from a toy factory in Shenzhen, Zorp believes every bathtub is a portal to another dimension. Has been spotted leaving crop circles in pool towels across three continents. Communicates exclusively in quacks that sound suspiciously like morse code.

Shadow Quack

Trained in the ancient art of Quack-Fu at a monastery hidden behind a waterfall in Kyoto. Shadow Quack can disappear into any shadow, making them the hardest duck to find on any ship. Rumor has it they once evaded 47 seekers on a single Caribbean cruise.

Captain Chill

Permanently on vacation since 2019. Captain Chill has never met a lounge chair they didn't like or a sunset they didn't photograph. Known for leaving clues that always involve the words 'relaxation' and 'vibes.' Their motto: 'Life's a beach, and I'm just floating.'

Prism

Born during a double rainbow over the Panama Canal, Prism refracts light in ways that make them impossible to photograph clearly. Each finder sees slightly different colors. Scientists are baffled. Instagram influencers are furious.

Kevin

Just Kevin. No last name. No backstory. Kevin showed up one day and refused to leave. The most unassuming duck in the fleet, Kevin has somehow been found more times than any other duck. There's something about Kevin. Nobody can explain it. Kevin doesn't care.

Legendary

The King

Half lion, half duck, all showmanship. The King performs nightly at the Lido Deck (whether anyone's watching or not). Known for hiding in the most dramatic locations possible — always near a spotlight, always near a stage. Has a rider that requires exactly 3 breadcrumbs and a thimble of champagne.

Professor Waddle

Has read every book in every ship library across seven cruise lines. Professor Waddle leaves clues written in iambic pentameter and judges you silently if you take more than 3 hints. Currently working on a dissertation titled 'The Migratory Patterns of Rubber Ducks in Enclosed Maritime Environments.'

Lil' Inferno

Don't let the cute face fool you. Lil' Inferno is responsible for more 'mysterious disappearances' of pool towels than any other entity on the seven seas. Hides in the most inconvenient locations possible. Enjoys chaos. Feeds on the frustration of seekers who are 'so close.'

Her Royal Quackness

Descended from a long line of bath toys that once graced the tubs of European royalty. Her Royal Quackness demands to be hidden only in first-class areas and refuses to be found by anyone who hasn't said 'please.' Comes with a tiny crown that has survived 14 Atlantic crossings.

Comrade Quackski

A duck of the people. Comrade Quackski believes all ducks are created equal and that the means of rubber production should be shared. Frequently found in communal areas — buffets, public decks, the gym nobody uses. Leaves clues that read like motivational posters from 1987.

Goooal!

The only duck to have been ejected from a shuffleboard tournament for 'excessive celebration.' Goooal! treats every find like a World Cup final. Expects finders to do a victory lap. Has been banned from the mini-golf course on three separate ships.

Gnarly Bill

Caught his first wave off the coast of Maui in 2017 and hasn't stopped talking about it since. Gnarly Bill exclusively hides near water features — pools, hot tubs, water slides, that weird fountain on Deck 7. Speaks in a dialect that's 40% surfer slang, 60% duck.

Glitch

Nobody knows where Glitch came from. The barcode on the bottom leads to a 404 page. The factory stamp is in a language that doesn't exist. Glitch appears in photos that nobody remembers taking. Finding Glitch is easy. Explaining Glitch is impossible.

In March 2018, a 10-year-old named Abby Davis hid a rubber duck on the Carnival Breeze sailing from Galveston, Texas — and left a note asking the finder to rehide it and post a photo.

That single duck sparked a global movement. Today, 280,000+ members in the main Facebook community hide and find ducks on every major cruise line — Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Disney, Norwegian, and beyond.
